Tracy Nameth

Tracy Nameth is an experienced packaging professional with 16 plus years of experience.  She worked within the retail, club store and foodservice industries and has gained knowledge in packaging materials, packaging equipment selection and standardization.

Tracy has spent her career in food packaging, beginning with Campbell Soup, Pepperidge Farm and Unilever Foodsolutions. She spent 9 years at Kraft Foods in Chicago working in Frozen Meals, Beverages, Desserts, Cheese & Dairy, Innovation, Strategic Research and Operations. Two of her patents were granted from her work in the Cheese & Dairy business.

As an Alumni of Michigan State University’s School of Packaging, Tracy has a lot of passion for MSU Packaging and was elected to the Alumni Board of Directors in 2012. While at Kraft Foods, she led the Packaging recruiting team, and designed and implemented the Distance Mentoring Program at the MSU SOP. On the board, Tracy leads the scholarship team, awarding student scholarships valued at up to $40,000 annually.

When she’s not creating new packages or volunteering her time at MSU, Tracy spends her free time with her husband following Michigan State sports, doing Crossfit, attending Chicago Cubs games, traveling internationally and spending time at her family cottage on Lake Michigan.
